Xero Setup and Training
For ultimate peace of mind
Xero for small business owners
Xero was built with small business owners in mind, not bookkeepers. That’s why we recommend it. It gives you real visibility over your numbers in a clean, simple, easy-to-use interface, without needing to speak fluent accountant.
Rhythm Financial sets up Xero for small business owners across Brisbane and Moreton Bay, from our North Lakes and Kelvin Grove offices, then trains you to run it yourself. Whether you’re switching from clunky desktop software or already using Xero but not getting the most out of it, we’ll help you set things up right and show you how to use it like a pro.

Already on Xero? Let it do more of the work
Most businesses use Xero for invoicing and bank reconciliation and leave the rest of it switched off. The features that save the most time tend to be the ones nobody got around to setting up. Here’s what you could be missing out on:
- Bank rules. Teach Xero how you code your regular transactions once and it handles them from then on. Reconciling goes from a half-day job to about ten minutes.
- Automatic invoice reminders. Xero chases your overdue invoices on a schedule you set, so you stop being the one making the awkward phone call.
- Pay-now buttons. Clients pay straight off the invoice instead of putting it aside to sort out later.
- Hubdoc Photograph a receipt at the counter and it lands in Xero already coded and attached to the transaction. No shoebox, no Sunday night data entry.
- Repeating invoices. Anything you bill on the same cycle goes out on its own, on the right day, every time.
- Tracking categories. See which jobs, sites or service lines are actually worth doing, without building a spreadsheet to work it out.

Small business Xero FAQs
How much does it cost to implement Xero for small business accounting?
We’ll give you a custom quote, based on what your specific needs are. Xero have a range of plans to suit your business and requirements.
Do you manage the software migration from another platform?
We don’t do the technical migration ourselves, but we’ll connect you with a trusted Xero migration partner to handle the switch.
Do I have to be a tax client to get Xero setup help?
No. Rhythm Financial offers Xero setup and training as a standalone service, so you can bring us in for the software work and keep your current accountant. Plenty of clients start with Xero training and shift their tax and compliance work across later, but there is no obligation either way.
How secure is Xero for small business financial data?
Xero takes the security of your business financial data seriously, with several layers of protection such as bank-level encryption, ISO 27001 certification, and secure data centres monitored 24/7, and data replication. To add another layer of protection, it’s always recommended to enable multi-factor authentication and choose a strong, unique password.
Do I need an accountant if I already use Xero?
Xero handles the bookkeeping. It does not do your tax planning, lodge your company return, or tell you whether you can afford to hire. Plenty of small businesses run their own Xero file day to day and bring an accountant in at BAS time and year end. That split works well.
